◊ Kimber Bridget Harper was born on May 6th 1990 in Marietta, Georgia as an only child to Elizabeth Conners and Matthew Harper, a pair of teenagers just starting out in their own lives. For as long as she could remember, being an only child had only worked in her favor. It gave her the opportunity to have the attention of her parents without having to share it, something that would prove to become potentially problematic later on in her life. There became a constant craving to be the most important individual in the room when it came to those she cared for, even if she wasn't all too thrilled about being the center of attention otherwise.

◊ Unlike most young adults her age, Kim has an extraordinarily close bond with both of her parents. Being relatively close in age has made it easier over the years when it came to getting along and resolving arguments, but she's also similar to her mother and father in very different ways. Upon first glance she may have a tougher exterior, constantly having a penchant for swearing and making sarcastic remarks; but upon a closer look she's more like her father in the way that he wears his heart on his sleeve and would do anything to help those he loves.

◊ At the age of thirteen, she fractured two of her ribs in a bike riding accident. She'd been racing some of her friends down the street to see who would get to the park quicker, but the sequence of events that followed weren't something she anticipated to happen. In order to swerve out of the way of a car backing out of its driveway, her bike skidded into the nearby curb, causing her to be tossed onto her stomach on the ground. Several hours later in the emergency room and she was sent home with pain killers and the sentence that she needed to take it easy. It took a little over two months for the bones to heal, and she hasn't gotten on another bicycle since out of fear of it happening again.

◊ Shortly after is when it was discovered that she had asthma. Her breathing would come in short bursts after being near a smoker, often feeling as if she were a fish trying to gasp for water out on the docks. Now, it is unlikely for her to step out of the house without an inhaler on her somewhere, but in the event that she does forget then the chances are high that Nico at least remembered to stash it into his pocket.

◊ When she was around the age of sixteen, her father received a job offer out at a hospital in Huntington Beach, California that was nearly impossible to turn down. So in the middle of her high school years, they made the decision to uproot her and force her into a place she didn't know a thing about. Though she had initially vowed to move back to Georgia upon her graduation from high school, she ended up falling in love with California. It would be impossible for her to live anywhere else as a result.

◊ Although she began to tinker at the piano from the age of four, she took up lessons at the age of six and has been playing ever since. She'll often hole herself up in her bedroom to work on a piece until her fingertips are numb and the sides of her hands smeared with pencil marks. Though she has yet to be able to afford an actual piano, her keyboard suits her just fine in the meantime.

◊ After graduating from Huntington Beach High School in 2008, she made the decision to take a year off and focus her attention on maintaining a job instead. In 2009, she began to attend CSULB with a major in music, specifically for the piano. Initially she had been convinced her parents weren't thrilled with the thought being that it wasn't a solid enough of a career path, but it didn't take long for her to see that they were proud of her regardless which only further pushed her to do well in school.

◊ For an individual who is normally laid back, Kim's been known to take things to heart too much. There are times that she'll stress incessantly over something small, analyzing the tiniest detail into the ground until she can no longer formulate any other options. With a sarcastic sense of humor and a mouth like a truck driver at times, she does her best to curb it while in the company of her parents out of respect.

◊ Kimber met Nicholas Morris when she was a freshman in college. After running late for her class, he had caused her to drop her books on the ground when he bumped into her on campus. At the time, Kim chalked it up to being a random event, but then they ran into each other a few days later and found themselves on the fast track to becoming friends.

◊ After a handful of failed, and ultimately short-lived relationships, something kept bringing her back to Nic. He'd asked her out a number of times by that time and was seemingly never discouraged when she kept turning him down. Instead it made him more persistent. She finally said yes to him in the fall of 2012, and it only took a few months for him to propose on Super Bowl Sunday in 2013. Kim and Nic were then married on June 15th 2013 and she couldn't imagine her life being anything other than what it turned out to be.

➜ STARTED TO PLAY PIANO ... at the age of six. She'd always been musically inclined but it wasn't until 1996 that her parents agreed to put her into lessons. She's been playing ever since and even majored in it at CSULB. Her goal is to one day score music for a film.
➜ HER PARENTS WERE STILL TEENAGERS ... when Beth found out she was pregnant with him. Her father was seventeen while her mother was sixteen. Unlike the statistics, Matt didn't abandon them. Instead he continued his education and went into the medical field to support his family.
➜ STARTED TO WORK AT AGE EIGHTEEN ... at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. She had just graduated from high school when she got the job and has been working there ever since. It's not a dream job, and she has her qualms and complaints about it, but it's been working for her so far.
➜ DIAGNOSED WITH ASTHMA ... when she was thirteen years old. Breathing became more difficult for her over the course of a few years and the wheezing got so bad her parents took her to the doctor to find out what was wrong. A few months prior she'd fractured two ribs during a bike riding incident.
➜ MET NICO WHEN SHE WAS A FRESHMEN

... in college. She skipped a year between high school and finally attending CSULB, and when she was a freshman was when she met Nicholas Morris. He continued to ask her out for a few years until she threw caution to the wind and finally agreed. He proposed Super Bowl Sunday of 2013 and they were married on June 15th 2013.
➜ THEIR HONEYMOON ... was a cruise to Alaska. Although there had been a list of potential places they wanted to go, spending a time on a ship together with minimal contact from the outside world felt like the perfect escape for the two of them.
➜ ON FEBRUARY 15TH 2014 ... Kim found out she was about six weeks pregnant. It took them both by surprise and while they were unsure about it at first, and predictably terrified of what this could mean for the pair, they warmed up to the idea. It wasn't ideal for them to be having a kid so early on in their marriage, especially when they hadn't even reached their year anniversary, but they became as comfortable with it as they could in such a short amount of time.
➜ BUT ON MARCH 9TH 2014

... the unthinkable happened. She awoke to Nico shaking her after he woke up to finding his wife in a puddle of blood. Although she tried her best to remain calm, she knew immediately that she was having a miscarriage. Kim had been spotting a few days prior and even though her doctor told her it was probably nothing to worry about, she hadn't been able to shake the feeling that something was off. The loss of their first child hit her hard, leaving her to place the blame on herself and to be riddled with an overwhelming guilt that she'd done something wrong to cause this. After a few months, and on the suggestion of her husband, she started to go to a support group for miscarriages that met twice a month.
